As a reminder, tomorrow--Wednesday, October 22nd--is the last day to purchase OMS Halloween Dance tickets. 

• The OMS Halloween Dance is Friday, October 24, 2025, from 6:30 p.m. -8:30 p.m.  at the OMS Cafeteria.  
• Tickets are $5 each and on sale at student lunches. Tickets will not be sold on Thursday or Friday and will not be sold at the door.   We prepare our lists ahead of time so we can properly plan for the event. 
• Tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable. 
• Students must be in good behavioral standing without behavioral concerns the week leading up to the dance (10/17-10/24). Assistant principals will communicate with any students and families of those not able to attend due to behaviors. In this case only will ticket payments be refunded. 
• Students must be present in school for at least the equivalent of a half day in order to attend the dance. 
• Students who go home sick from the nurse are not permitted to attend the dance. 
• The OMS dance is for OMS students only. No guests. 
• Students, please arrive by 7:00 to gain entry unless parent/guardian makes arrangements with Principal to arrive later due to family/youth sports commitment: email at ljoseph@oxps.org 
• Students are permitted to wear costumes to the Halloween Dance. Costumes need to be school appropriate. Please--no masks; no accessories that would be in appropriate for school.  
• Small purses may be brought inside the dance, but no bags/backpacks.
• No outside food or beverages permitted.
• Refreshments will be on sale at dance.
• As this is a school event, school rules and expectations apply. 
• The end of the dance is very busy with 250+ students exiting at once, at night,  to their separate cars.  We ask that you plan to park in a parking spot in the staff lot on the side of the building or along our entry next to to police station, or along Row 1 of the parent drop/off/pick up.  We will look to have all other vehicles arriving to pick up loop around the staff lot while we safely have students exit the front doors. Please do not park in front of the main entrance to pick up, as we want to keep that spot free of vehicles until all students are out safely,  for safety reasons. Please clearly indicate to your child who is picking them up and in what vehicle so they know who to look for. 
• We can't wait for our students to have a spooktacular night of fun!
