INFO FOR FAMILIES
The Oxford Pirate Pantry Weekend Backpack Program is LAUNCHING DECEMBER 19th, 2025 to provide students with the option to receive a discreet bag of nutritious, easy-to-prepare food to take home each weekend or school break when school meals are not available.
The program is free, voluntary, and open to all students enrolled in Oxford Public Schools—no eligibility requirements and no questions asked. Each bag includes a selection of kid-friendly foods that support student health, well-being, and readiness to learn.

HOW TO DONATE
The program is operated entirely through community support and volunteer efforts, and we welcome donations to help keep the pantry stocked.
We will continually be accepting donations of the following kid-friendly, shelf-stable items at all four of our schools’ front offices: oatmeal packets, cereal cups, breakfast bars, mac and cheese cups, pasta bowls, pop-top canned soups, tuna or chicken pouches, peanut or nut-free butter cups, applesauce cups, fruit cups, granola bars, pretzels, crackers, and shelf-stable milk when available. No homemade foods can be accepted.
We are also gratefully accepting monetary donations, which allow us to purchase items in bulk when supplies run low. Monetary donations can be made payable to “The Town of Oxford” and sent to:
Oxford High School

100 Carbuncle Drive
